Taper right for your marathon

We’re closing in on the most mysterious time of marathon training — the taper. The taper is definitely important, but it doesn’t need to be overly complicated. The goal is to cut back on your training enough that you get to the race without any lingering fatigue, but not so much that you lose fitness.

 

This chart gives you the tools you need to plan out the three weeks leading up to your race to make sure that you hit the start line feeling fresh and sharp!
