Running Form Drills: B Skips
The more intense your running is, the better warmed-up you need to be. So if you’re going to tackle a difficult speed session, you need to make sure that your warm-up drills are appropriate.
High knees and butt kicks are good general warm-up exercises, but if you’ll be pushing the pace you need to include exercises like A Skips and B Skips. These help to train some of the same movements, but in a more dynamic way.
Check out the video for my thoughts on the correct way to use B Skips as a distance runner. It’s a little different than “traditional” B Skips but just as effective.
